Colleen O’Shaughnessey in Naruto

The Digimon Encylopedia is reporting that Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Digimon’s Sora, will be playing Ino and Konohamaru in the Naruto dub. Additionally, they have fairly recent interview with her available.

  1. This has got to be false since it states in Shounen Jump that there are no voice actors in the english cast that have more than 1 role.

  2. Well, I haven’t read the article you’re referring to, but this comes from the actress herself. And in any case Jump was probably just talking about the main characters, as giving all the supporting and incidental characters their own actor would make the dubbing far more time consuming and expensive, and is pretty much unpreceded for a show of this length.

  3. I still don’t get how The Digimon Encyclopedia got hold of that information, there doesn’t seem to be any listings of anime conventions with her on the guestlist, so how could she have told them?

  4. Email? It’s not like the site hadn’t been in touch with her before (the interview), and if you read the news page it seems the subject of Naruto came up when she was asked about the dubbing of the remaining Digimon movies.
