This is a long-awaited release for me. When the project first started, I was thrilled at the idea of interviewing so many voice actors (and actresses) from the major companies. I am disappointed that a better slice of VA’s are not represented, as ADV gets poor representation in this endeavor; on a personal aside, I wanted inclusion of my favorite VA, Bridgette Hoffman, who does not appear on this disc (as far as the original press release indicated). I encourage anyone interested in voice-over work to explore this project, as well as anyone who, like me, is simply fascinated by all of the complicated steps involved in series reversioning. Given the growing bias against English “dubbing”, even from the prespective of a purist like me, I believe that this video provides a fair and academic insight into the large voice-over industry and can enlighten any tyro to just how involved a process overvoicing is. Therefore, I encourage everyone to watch this video, which I think will be worth the awaited release.
