CrystalAcids has learnt that the fighting show parody Law of Ueki is being dubbed by The Ocean Group / Blue Water Studios. To be released by Geneon Entertainment, the first volume is due out on May 17th, featuring 4 episodes and retailing at $19.98.
Regular database contributor thedigitalsin has re-launched his website detailing the heavy editing provided by CMX Manga (DC Comics’ manga publishing division) to the Tenjho Tenge manga series. Prolific dubbing studio Media Concepts writes on their website that they’ve recently recently purchased a new post production facility in Burbank. Formerly Barbra Streisand’s Evergreen recording studio, their new features include “2 AVID Suites, 3 ADR rooms, a DVD mixing room, an 80-piece orchestra size live room, and a theatrical mixing room.”
Central Park Media has revealed the final winner of their Outlanders “fan-casting†contest, announcing that Sean Schemmel, who was previously picked to play lead character Tetsuya, also was the most popular choice as the rugged “dog-man” Geobaldi. His winning audition and acceptance video can be found on CPM’s Outlanders website. The show itself will be released on DVD on February 7.
