At their panel at Anime Expo, Bang Zoom! Entertainment announced that they were dubbing Tokko for Manga Entertainment, and Fate/Stay Night, Tales of Phantasia and one yet to be announced title for Geneon. The latter was subsequently revealed to be Paradise Kiss, and is being directed by Stephanie Sheh.
After being passed over by ADV Films, RightStuf has announced the license of the second season of SuperGALS! to be released December 1st in a 26-episode subtitled box set for $49.98 (pre-orders before November 20th get it for $37.49). The first 600 pre-orders through RightStuf.com will also get their name mentioned in the “Special Thanks” section of the DVDs. You can view the trailer through RightStuf’s new SuperGALS! website.
At their Anime Expo panel today, ADV Films announced that they had worked out a deal with FUNimation to handle the production on their upcoming release of Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid, allowing the cast from ADV’s previous Full Metal Panic dubs to return.
At their panel at Anime Expo today, Geneon announced that the dub for Hellsing Ultimate would be produced by New Generation Pictures, with the cast from the TV series returning. The first volume of the OVA will be released on December 5th.
IGN has posted an interview with voice actress Kari Wahlgren. The interview mainly focuses around her video game dubbing work, personal life, and some voiceover background while working in the industry.
Central Park Media has been forced to cut part of its staff due to Musicland (owners of Musicland, Sam Goody, and Suncoast) filing bankruptcy. John O’Donnell has given a statement over the situation and to help find their former employees new employment in the New York area.

Those who are fans of Brenna O’Brien should keep their eyes peeled for her short appearance in the new X-Men 3: The Last Stand movie. The popular young actress best known as the character Rin in InuYasha plays the daughter of a family trapped inside their car on the Golden Gate Bridge as Magneto lifts the bridge to its new desination.
According to what looks like legitimate posts ([1], [2]) by voice actors Skip Stellrecht and Steve Blum on the Narutofan.com message boards, casting is in progress for Bleach in Los Angeles. Unlike Viz’s previous LA dubs, this will be non-union project.
Geneon is offering a free exchange program for Doki Doki School Hours volume 3 due to a manufacturing error. Apparently episode 9 is out-of-sync on some copies of the DVD. You can find the exchange form here. Only the original DVD is needed, you can keep ahold of the case.
Bandai Visual USA has opened up a new website for their recent Patlabor: The Movie DVD release. There you can get some background on the Patlabor world, a trailer featuring the new Elastic Media dub, and bonus goodies like wallpapers and DVD specs. The original release of Patlabor: The Movie was by Manga Entertainment using their London studio for the dub.
