“Howl’s Moving Castle” English cast revealed
Nausicaa.net have posted a list of the main English cast for the upcoming Miyazaki film Howl’s Moving Castle:
Howl – Christian Bale
Old Sophie – Jean Simmons
Witch of the Waste – Lauren Bacall
Calcifer – Billy Crystal
Madam Suliman – Blythe Danner
Unlike the Japanese version, young and old Sophie will be played by different actresses, with the voice for young Sophie yet to be decided.
Additionally, Crispin Freeman has revealed on his Yahoo! Group that he has a “small, but important” role in the film as Prince Turnip.
