Geneon confirmed their license for Gankutsuou, which they’ll be releasing as The Count of Monte Cristo, stating that dub would be done by Bang Zoom! Entertainment. Additionally, they revealed that Jubei-Chan 2 was being worked on by The Ocean Group, and while the specific studio wasn’t mentioned, it would seem likely that they’ve tried to reunite the Blue Water cast from the original series.
Else, Bandai mentioned that Avenger was dubbed by Elastic Media and Hoop Days by The Ocean Group (Blue Water to be specific), though both of these were already known.
I have to say I’ve very pleased that companies have started announcing dub news at cons.
Indeed. I’m also glad studio’s are announcing who’s doing the dubs for certain shows. It’s a very welcomed change. ^^
