Pretty Cure dubbed
It hasn’t been announced as licensed for US distribution yet, but clips of an English dub for Toei’s magical girl series Pretty Cure have surfaced, apparently taken from German TV.

The voice actors as far as I could make out:
Jennifer Sekiguchi - Honoka/Cure White, Mepple
Deanna Morris - Nagisa/Cure Black
Doug Stone - The bad guys

Sekiguchi and Morris, eh? Interesting…
If it’s those two, it would definitely be an LA dub but probably not Bang Zoom (Morris hasn’t ever been in a BZ dub, though I guess you couldn’t rule it out entirely)
I’m curious to know who got this R1 (if anyone at this point).

It doesn’t sound like BZ dub, particularly with all the voice doubling. Also, this won’t necessarily be the dub that gets released in the US… Japanese companies often commission promo dubs to help sell their shows internationally.

Interesting news I must say.

Thanks a lot for the info, drakh!
(I’m the original poster of these clips… seems I’ve finally got the attention of people who might be able to identify them).
I feel like I might be able to get to the bottom of this now.
My best guess at the moment is that it’s a promo requested by Toei and made by some LA recording studio of ep 1. They must have replaced the music for either liscensing reasons or maybe simply because the LA studio never got the original tracks from Toei.
