PiQ Goes to Hell with Sam & Max

Exclusive cover and interview with series creator Steve Purcell

 

HOUSTON, April 14, 2008—The May 2008 issue of PiQ covers the acclaimed Sam & Max franchise, including the new wave of video games, the recently-released edition of Surfin’ the Highway and the long-awaited debut of the animated television series on DVD. Look for exclusive cover artwork created by Telltale Games, as well as an in-depth interview with series creator and Pixar artist Steve Purcell discussing all the finer points of the series.

 

PiQ also looks at Paramount’s comic-to-film venture Iron Man, anime releases Lucky Star and Vexille, the stateside debuts of Asian films Nana and CJ7, the BBC sci-fi hit Torchwood, and new game releases Disgaea 3 and Persona 3 FES.
